GoDaddy Domain Backorder

with 2 comments

I tried to backorder a name today with GoDaddy.
You have to pay $18.99 and you will get one year TDNAM membership for free. :)
And the best part is, if you don’t get the name with GoDaddy backorder, GoDaddy will refund your money as a “credit”.
You can use it to backorder other domain name. :)

More tips from me : use DOWNFORCE as the coupon to cut the fee by 15% into $16.14. :D

Here is the e-mail reply that i got from GoDaddy customer service about backorder.

Thank you for contacting Online Support. A backorder allows you to put a claim on an existing domain name once it is released to the public. Please note that this does not guarantee that you will get the domain name as others may have also placed a backorder on the domain. Unfortunately, our backorder service is non-refundable, however, you may assign the backorder to any domain name until it is successful at no charge.
